High-profile lifestyle website points to turquoise seas, remote Olymbos and interesting island characters in a travel destination feature on the Dodecanese island

The Italian online edition of lifestyle magazine Vanity Fair revealed the wild beauty of Karpathos in early summer in a travel destination feature that has received more than 144,000 views so far.

The Dodecanese isle’s hidden beaches, colourful cultural traditions and unique local dishes counted among the highlights that the writer insists Italian travellers should not miss.

“Karpathos’ seas have the most amazing colour I’ve ever seen and incredibly beautiful beaches, but do not come here for this. Come here to breathe in the Mediterranean as one should,” the story reads.

Marketing Greece arranged a press trip to Karpathos for Vanity Fair Italia online, which receives 8.8 million unique visitors monthly, with the support of airline partner Aegean as part of efforts to promote the South Aegean abroad.
