Marketing Greece is planning to redesign and rebuild its travel portal Discovergreece.com and wishes to scan the market for eligible agencies to undertake this project.
Discovergreece.com is a B2C travel portal launched in 2014 by Marketing Greece to showcase Greek destinations and experiences in an innovative way. The portal exists in seven languages – English, Russian, German, French, Turkish, Italian and Greek – and attracts an average 300,000 unique monthly visitors.
It is thematically arranged by traveller type, such as family, and travel preference, like sun &beach. More than 140 destinations are featured with approximately 200,000 words in each language, including hidden gems and experiences found right across Greece.
The portal contains around 5,000 photographs, 100 thematic videos focusing on individual regions and more than 1,000 experience-based stories contributed by local insiders and visitors.
The website was designed and launched in late 2013 – early 2014. Now, the challenge is to rebuild Discovergreece.com in such a way that it will adopt all the new trends and best practices of 2019 and will be totally aligned with the digital environment, including technological enhancements and mobile-related updates.
For the time being, we are interested in gathering specific information from prospective companies.
